This picture represents this course because it basically shows what we were taught, which was that we, as humans, control the fate of environment. It symbolizes that we have the environment in our hands, and we have to make decisions like living sustainable to make the world the best place to live for everyone. We have to protect the environment and organisms, and as humans we are the last hope for a safe and clean world.
This picture is of acid rain which is also considered acid deposition. Acid rain is formed from acidic pollutents in the atmosphere and have highly destructive results. It is one of the most important and destructive problems in the environment, and gets worse because it is invisible. As you see in the picture, the acid rain can not be seen because they are invisible gases that usaully come from coal-burning power plants.
This picture shows a big problem in the deforestation problem, which is rain forest destruction. Rain forests are being quickly destroyed and cut down at a fast rate. There are many rain forests that recieve public attetion, from forests in Amazon to Venezuela. The world's population growth is a primary cause of rain forste destruction. This is because more people need land to live and wood from the trees for products.
